Washington, D.C., – Sunday May 3, 2009 – 7:00 p.m. EDT – Albany High School’s Science Bowl Team has advanced through round robin competition and into the double elimination tournament, which starts this evening at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
This places the Cougars within the top 16 Science Bowl teams in the county.
After the double elimination round this evening, the top four teams compete for the championship on Monday May 4.
Albany’s Science Bowl Team includes seniors Elise Cai, George Shan and Benji Kessler, junior Jamie Lincoff and sophomore Corwin Shiu. The team is coached by Peggy Carlock.
