The first round of Powderpuff football games is over, and excitement is running high.
In the freshman-junior game, sloppy defense from the freshmen combined with a stellar offensive performance by the juniors to result in a serious thrashing of the youngsters and a triumphant 43-13 victory for the upperclassmen. Conversely, the seniors came up short in a heated game that resulted in a 21-20 victory for the sophomore class. Despite high hopes for the seniors, they ultimately came away with the crushing loss at the hands of the sophomore underdogs.
The final showdown will be held on Wednesday, October 21 at lunch in the gym. Both junior and sophomore campaigns are looking for their first championship, and the game will hopefully result in an entertaining performance.
