Lucia and Eline rate their 6 favorite websites

Websites are a huge part of all our lives and after some extensive research; we came up with our favorite sites http://youmakemetouchyourhands

forstupidreasons.ytmnd.com/

We LOVE this site. Think about it… Funny accent, hilarious guy speaking and an amazing way of pronouncing words wrong ex. WORLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. All the ingredients for a fantastic break up letter, this guy some how got hold of this letter and he made magic out of it.

http://postsecret.blogspot.com/

Every week people send in postcards with their darkest secrets spilled out in various creative ways. Some are hysterical, others very upsetting, and many are incredibly relatable. Sightseers can look forward to the new secrets every Sunday morning, and if they can’t wait that long, they can purchase the corresponding books, which often have bookstore browser secrets tucked away in between the pages as well. If the limited number of English secrets bores you, check out the French, German, Spanish, or Korean ones.

http://www.toiletmap.gov.au/default.aspx

Do you ever plan a trip but have to cancel it because of fear there will be no toilet? This site maps out every single public toilet on the continent of Australia. You have the option to plan trips and identify toilet stops, browse the map, find caravan dump locations and even find toilets in your area. Just type in a location and it will direct you to the public toilets. They are separated into categories, i.e. male, female, wheel chair accessibility. Upon clicking on a specific toilet, information regarding open hours, baby-cleaning tables, payments, and more are available. The only regret we have is that there is no such website available for the United States.

Most of us love Albany’s local Gordo burrito joint but, what about San Francisco’s taquerias? Well have no fear for there is a site dedicated to scoping out and rating all of San Francisco’s Taquerias. Something else genius, every location is rated by mustaches; one mustache being the worst and ten being the best. There are pictures of each restaurant, an over all description, preferred method of payment, location, and whether or not it will violate one’s health! If you like the site enough you can even buy one of their attractive t-shirts.

http://www.onesentence.org/

As the title suggests, One Sentence is a site filled with “true stories, written in one sentence”. They are separated into categories, which include humor, sex, betrayal, cancer, and many more, and like post secret, many are relatable and even moving.

This group first became big after a radio piece was done about them that debuted on This American Life. The group Improv Everywhere does exactly what there name entails they do improve every wherever they go! From hilarious skits like getting tons of people to go on the New York City subway in their underwear, to walking in slow motion around Home Depot. Their stunts are very funny, and clever. On the site you can enjoy many of their unique improvisational pieces and see a list of their missions.

Based on what we’d provided, what do you think? When slacking off in anatomy or procrastinating art history packets, what sites do you have bookmarked for quick access to browsing? Let us know by commenting on this article!
