After placing third in the BSAL Championship on Saturday May 12, Albany High School’s girls’ swim team sent four people to NCS. Junior Ursula Dailey, freshman Catherine Dunn, and sophomores Amy Gu and Isa Guardalabene qualified for the girls medley relay and 200 freestyle relays. Dailey also qualified for the individual 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke, while Guardalabene qualified for the individual 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle. Dailey came in third in the 100 fly and earned an All-American qualification. This is the second year Dailey has been an All-American swimmer, last year in the 100 backstroke.
