Block A Schedule
General
1. Congratulations to the AHS Women’s Tennis Team: Placing 2nd in
League, 2nd year in a row. 16-2-1 overall record. Going to 2nd round @
BSAL playoffs: Yuan Feng, Jessica Dai, Inbal Sarig, Elaine Fang, & Chloe
Drulis. Elena Pan on to semis.
2. Seniors — Next week is the last chance for senior portraits.
Library, after school, Wed., 11/12, Thurs., 11/13 & Fri., 11/14. See Ms.
Chiarella with questions
3. If you are interested in participating in Challenge Day, now is the
time to sign up in the counseling office. Sophomore Challenge Day is
December 10th and Junior/Senior Challenge Day is December 17th. Priority
will be given to students who did not participate last year. If you have
any questions, please speak with your counselor, Shelly Ball, or Ms.
Hudson. Challenge Day is Amazing — Don’t miss out!
4. There will be a Close Up Meeting for all participants today at lunch
in room 201.
5. Come to the Theater Ensemble Production of “Picasso at the Lapin
Agile” on November 13, 14, 15 20, 21 or 22. Friday and Saturday shows at
8:00 pm, Thursday shows at 7:00 pm. The cost is $5.00 for students and
$10 for adults. Attending this show fill a fine arts report requirement.
6. Red Cross Club Bake Sale Friday, After school. All proceeds will go
to the PTSA to purchase school disaster emergency supplies. Come out and
support us!
7. The Cougars play cross-town rival St. Mary’s under the lights at
Cougar Field. The JV plays at 3:30 today & the Varsity at 5:00 on
Friday. Come out to see the new field at night and cheer on our Cougars
as the Varsity drives toward the NCS playoffs. No admission charge for
the JV game!
8. Today’s menu: Curry Chicken, Chicken Garden Salad, BBQ Beef Sandwich
& Deli Sandwiches
9. The Pentacles, The Blank Tapes, Misnomer and Oh Lucky Man performing
this Friday, 7pm @ the Albany Community Center. Wear your Halloween
costume and get in for $3. Win prizes! Stupendous!

Thursday, 6-8pm, Friday, 2:30-4pm, and Sat., 10-1pm @ Cougar Field.
Please bring cleats, running shoes, and shin guards. All medical forms
must be turned in with grades cleared in order to try-out.

League Champions @ Crab Cove, Alameda.
2. Please excuse the J.V. Football team @ 2:00pm today for their game vs
