General
1. Chinese American Citizen Alliance is sponsoring an essay contest open
to all high school students on Sat., March 7, 10am to noon, at the
Oakland Lodge. Students will write an essay on a subject regarding
Chinese and Asians in the U.S., exact topic to be announced at the
contest. Information and an official entry form can be downloaded at
www.cacanational.org or see Ms. Sumberg in the counseling office.
2. Today’s lunch menu: Chicken Fritters, Deli Sandwiches, Chef Salad &
Hoison Chicken & Rice
College/Career
1. College Visit — Sacramento State U., Tues., 2/10, 12:45pm in the
Counseling Office. This visit is especially for seniors, including those
who applied to Sac State.
Clubs/Team Announcements
1. Practice Session for the AMC Math contest today @ lunch in Rm. 312
2. BOOK DISCUSSION CLUB – TUESDAY – LUNCH – LIBRARY – emergency,
mandatory 10 minute meeting, come beginning of lunch.
3. MODEL U. N. CLUB – WED. – LUNCH – RM. 18 – bring your checks and
permission slips for the Berkeley conference
