Tomorrow, September 18, Cougar Field is hosting Albany High’s first home football game of the season. Both the varsity and junior varsity teams will be playing against Mission San José. Last year, Albany beat Mission San José’s varsity and JV teams, so Albany has high hopes to do well in these games. Even though the varsity team did not deliver in Albany’s first game against Campolindo, losing 44-15, they have worked hard since and show promise for a good game this Friday. Junior varsity will begin their game at 3:30 pm, with varsity following shortly afterwards at 5:30 pm.
