This week, the Albany High School Jazz Band is heading to New York City to participate in the Essentially Ellington High School Festival. This event is highly prestigious, and only 15 High School Bands in the country are selected to attend. After working extremely hard for several years, the AHS band has been selected this year as a finalist. The Festival, which takes place May 10th at the highly prestigious Jazz at Lincoln Center.
